Your hunting adventure begins when you arrive at Culiacan International Airport or Mazatlan International Airport. Our representative will meet you and will take you to Pichiguila Club Hunting Lodge in our private van. Refreshing drinks and a sumptuous welcome lunch or dinner with a selection of wine is served, either in the dining gazebo or on the outdoor open air patio. The views of the lagoon at sunset are breathtaking. The first day of shooting begins with an authentic local breakfast, after which our highly skilled airboat operators will take you to your strategically located hunting blind, only a few minutes away from the lodge. Camouflaged in the blind, you may spot scores of swift, fast-flying Pintails, volleys of the three different types of Teal, Gadwalls, Scaup, and flocks of Black-bellied and Fulvous Whistling Tree Ducks. Since these ducks are generally not shot over decoys you will experience the thrill of pass shooting, where the overhead and horizontal shots are non-stop. Seasoned bird boys and trained Labradors will retrieve the downed birds. Lunch is served mid-day at the lodge, after which you have the option for a short siesta, either in your bungalows or in the hammocks by the lagoon, before venturing back out for an exciting afternoon of shooting. At the end of the day, you will be welcomed back to the lodge with a refreshing towel and cold drinks. Informal cocktails with fellow guests are enjoyed in the dining room; some evenings our guests request a performance by a local Mariachi band, which can be arranged for an additional fee upon request. Then dinner is served! One night you might enjoy seared duck breast tacos, the next perhaps freshly caught fish, or a grass-fed beef steak; everything is locally sourced and prepared on site for a spectacular dining event. After dinner, we prepare a lagoon-side campfire for you to enjoy the incredible starry skies. Our guests feel a world away, enjoying an after dinner tequila or a cigar under the stars and recalling the memories they made that day.A Day at Pichiguila
